Information about the different battery types

Note that there are factors other than battery age that can effect battery drain, such as brightness, refresh and frame rate, and display quality. With this in mind, there is a possibility that a battery could last a shorter amount of time after repair than the original battery did when it was brand new if any of these settings have been changed on your device during normal use.

'Standard Capacity' Batteries

Any battery marked as standard capacity will be rated at the same mAh rating as the original battery for that specific model. This means that after the battery is replaced, it should hold it's charge just as long as the original battery did when the device was bought new.

'Extended Capacity' Batteries

Any battery marked as extended capacity will be rated at a higher mAh rating as the original battery for that specific model. This means that after the battery is replaced, it should hold it's charge longer than the original battery did when the device was bought new.
